This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach a group of bright, enthusiastic 5th graders in a Title 1 elementary school. They are very passionate about learning and always want to know more. I just love watching their faces every day as they make connections, finally understand the algorithm, or find deep understanding of the topic we are covering. My scholars have a variety of needs inside and outside of the classroom. I want to do everything I can to help my scholars succeed in all areas.
My Project
These Chromebooks will allow more scholars to use technology at a time. My scholars are 21st century learners and are preparing to live and work in a world where technology rules. They need to have access to that technology to be able to keep up with their peers and have a chance to succeed.
These Chromebooks will allow my scholars to learn coding skills, research topics more thoroughly, and interact on websites that dive deeper into the fields that we are studying.
These learning experiences are so valuable to my scholars and could make a huge difference in their future!
