This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an AIMS (Autism Intervention and Management Support) classroom, I have the privilege of working with six incredible non-verbal students who are each on their own unique journey to communication and independence. Every day, I strive to provide the tools like CVC CVVC Word Builder, CVC Word Games, and Phonics Games Flash Cards, resources, and strategies that will help these children express themselves and connect with the world around them. However, the right materials and engaging activities make all the difference in their progress. That is why I am reaching out for your support.

Through my DonorsChoose project, I am hoping to provide better supplies and more varied, meaningful activity choices for these amazing students.
