Our school is a place where all kids are honored for the unique abilities and talents they bring. We teach in an inclusive setting that provides opportunities for ALL students to learn together to their fullest potential. The students in our classrooms have a wide variety of needs, academic and social skills- including children who develop typically, children with special needs and children who are gifted- we all learn side by side.

We have two classes of absolutely amazing transitional kindergarteners that learn together through collaboration in a dynamic and nurturing environment.
My Project
This year we will be introducing students to a person of the week who exemplifies the social-emotional characteristics embedded in our SEL curriculum. These age-appropriate read aloud stories will introduce students to a variety of diverse heroes from around the country and around the world who have accomplished impressive things through hard work, bravery, creativity, determination, curiosity, commitment and many other traits. Students will meet individuals such as Malala Yousafzai, Pedro Flores, Keith Haring, Maya Lin, Indra Nooyi, Yo-Yo Ma, Jennifer Keelan-Chaffins, Kamala Harris, Cesar Chavez, and many more individuals who helped shape the world in which they live.
