TK Students Want To Cook ABC Soup In Their Community!
Help me give my students would like some educational materials to help them learn the alphabet (Alphabet Soup Starters) and some items to teach them about community.
My prekindergarten students are trying so hard to learn but it is not easy. I was talking with a teacher friend of mine and she recommended Alphabet Soup Starters. Each letter has 3-7 items in it that begin with that letter. I envision my student choosing a few letters. Then we would mix up the pieces and place them in the correct can according to the first sound. I think my students would be really engaged and excited to do this activity.
The other items, play school bus, community workers, and play town set, will help teach my students about community and how we all work together helping each other.
My students love to play and a lot can be taught through play!
All of these materials will give my students hands-on activities with lots of vocabulary development. It will help them discover, create and learn all at once.
Will you help us learn about the alphabet and about our community? We really appreciate your support. Thank you!
