This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The iPad Pro will help my students in various ways. First they would be able to use the latest type of technology to practice a variety of academic skills in class. They would also be able to view science videos online in class. They would be able to use a wide variety of learning apps that would help them practice many skills introduced in class.
My TK students would become technologically ready for the 21st century.
They could not just use a variety of apps but more importantly, learn how technology helps in their learning. They would be able to take pictures of activities they are working on. During math they could also capture their mathematical creations. They could begin recording themselves as they work with their partners on math problems. During Center time they would be able to browse through science videos to learn more about the plant life cycle, recycling, and a variety of landforms. I would be able to record and share their reports with families of them sharing during circle time.
