Help me give my students in the after school National Junior Art Honor club snacks, water and paper plates to keep them creative, full and happy for making and learning about art.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This National Junior Art Honor Society is the only one at our district. This is a Title I school and students don't bring their snacks when they stay after, so it's important to me and the students that they have good snacks so they won't be hungry and can then be creative and productive.
It's fun for them to have a quality art program after school program and quality snacks and water makes them feel important and appreciated.
The program thought of them and wanted to do something special for them so they won't go home hungry. The art work these students make is outstanding.
