Title I School in South Central Phoenix, Seeking Art Materials!
My students need Art materials to fuel and maintain their creativity desires.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Hein's classroom raised $465
This project is fully funded
My Students
I teach kindergarten - 6th grade Art at a Title I school in south central Phoenix, AZ.
100% of students receive free breakfast and lunch.
I am starting the art program from the ground up, as our school has not had an art program for the past three years. My students are passionate and overjoyed to have a new art program. They are always eager to find out what we are going to do next!
We were able to start off the first semester learning, having fun and getting creative with the arts. My students and I are very eager to continue our journey, as we learn and work our way through the formal elements of art and principles of design.
My Project
The art program is new to our school this year and we are needing help purchasing materials to get us through the rest of the year, the materials would even last until next year. Thus far my students have been learning about the formal elements of art and principles of design. If we are able to obtain the materials listed, we could continue strong, throughout the year, learning and exploring our creative side.
I have received the most positive response from students and staff about our art program thus far, as it is a new program this year.
Although, due to the lack of funding, we are finding it difficult to replace the art supplies once they have ran out, ( colored pencils, markers, etc,).
