My Students
"You can love anyone if you knew their story." Each of my students have a story and boy do I love them. We have only two computers in our classroom and are in need of more technology to help our students with reports, comprehension, math facts, reading and writing.
Being a Title 1 school I have a lot of students that do not have a lot.
Parents work multiple jobs to get by so my students don't get the support they deserve. I have a lot of smart kids and I can't wait for them to learn and grow this year! My school has gotten low scores recently because the support has not been there. We are working hard in many ways to turn our school around. We want these students to have the opportunities to learn and grow and enjoy doing it!
My Project
Having my students use these tablets and headphones during small group time will be very beneficial. With only two computers each student only gets to use them once a week during rotations. If I had tablets they would get more opportunities to go onto educational websites and apps.
All our end of level testing is done on the computer on specific websites.
Getting the students more access and practice on these online testing programs will increase their scores greatly!
