My Students
At our Title I, low-income school, we have adopted some wonderful programs for helping transitional families. Many of our students come from low-income families. Our school has a thriving backpack buddy program, holiday assistance program, and clothes closet to help make ends meet. We want to help these families continue to succeed.
Many of our families struggle to meet their basic needs.
They are doing there best to help their children succeed. We want to keep up the communication, invite them to events and trips, and help their children have a great year.
My Project
First grader are hard on school supplies. They also lose things they need sometimes. Backpacks can look like disaster zones. Students get upset when they can't find the things they need. Parents like to be informed of their student's progress and strategies for helping them. Having these strong folders will help them keep what they need, where they need it.
Help us stay organized and empower responsible for our own things.
We need folders that can stand the test of time and first grader. Strong and easy to clean, these folders will last all year long. Parents will be able to communicate easily with school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
