My Project

Tis the season for giving!

My name is Christa Iwaniw and I work at a high school.

We are trying to improve our cultural environment in the school for the holidays, if not all year round. I am one of the special education life skills teachers currently at the high school. BY doing this, it is also giving my students jobs in order to learn more skills through decorating and positive emotions.

I am writing to you to ask for your help in giving the school some love as well as giving my students another way to feel better about themselves. Help us spread the joy. We are covering all holidays... Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanza. With the economy the way that it is anything can help, not only the school environment, but, the student spirit as well.

I am hoping that you take me up on this offer and reach out. This would be greatly appreciated by both the staff as well as the students. Let’s work together to make our schools a better and supportive place for all! Building community unity that can shine through our schools.
