My Students

I don't think 2-3 paragraphs is enough to explain how this pandemic has affected my students, my school, my community and my country. Every morning I wake up in a state of disbelief that this is the state of our daily lives in 2020.

Our school system has done an excellent job of getting devices and hotspots into the hands of students who need them but I've been struggling with my own outdated technology to roll out online, distance learning for them.

I am requesting an HP Pavilion laptop for my use in the creation of online lessons and communication during this crazy time in history. This device will make my life so much easier as we enter this next phase of school closing, summer professional development and whatever next year brings. Thank you for any support you can provide.

My Project

I've been struggling with a clunky, outdated laptop during this distance learning adventure we've all been on. It makes communication and implementation of inspiring lessons difficult. It doesn't have a camera and it runs so slowly that I am unable to load technology rich sources into our learning management system.

The HP Pavilion laptop I'm requesting is cutting edge and will give me the ability to video conference (not from my phone), record lessons for my students and provide an enriching digital experience for them as they navigate from home.
