This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Pre-K is where the adventure begins! This is the first year of school for most kids, and we have this year to try and make them fall in love with learning. We also show them that the skills they learn here, are lifelong skills. In Pre-K we learn letters, number, how to share, and how to be kind. My tiny friends know that all of this is important, I stress every day that reading is so important. My tiny learners are full of love and joy for learning! I live to see those "Aha" moments, and when they practice what they have learned! My tiny friends are energetic and always ready to learn. Please help me give them a comfy space to read and STEM manipulatives to develop more connections.

My Project

My tiny learners love to read! I often catch them reading dramatically to their friends, like I read to them and my heart completely melts! I see them pretend reading, and I know that they are going to be just amazing readers!

Please help me give my tiny readers a comfortable space, so that they can fall even more in love with reading!

I want them to be able to sit comfortably for more than a couple minutes, and I know with the help of this sofa they can achieve just that! I feel like they are going to feel at home and comfortable enough to read for longer periods of time.

If we get this couch and math manipulatives then I can spend more money on supplying more books. Tiny hands can often be rough, and I can allocate more of my money to buy books if we can get these materials.
