This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My adorable Pre-K students are full of energy and curiosity, and I'm dedicated to providing them with the very best foundation for their academic journey. A crucial part of this foundation is the development of fine motor skills – the small, precise movements of the hands and fingers that are essential for everything from holding a pencil to buttoning a coat.

Right now, my classroom is in need of modeling clay, modeling tools, wooden puzzles, sand trays, and more engaging and effective tools to help my young learners strengthen these vital muscles.

Many of my students are just beginning to refine these skills, and providing resources and materials that foster fine motor development will help them strengthen their little muscles, gain independence, and build confidence.
