Tiny Art, Big Impact

Help me give my students the materials to put on a tiny art show.

My Project

The students our schools want to work their art with the community and show the importance of the visual arts. Our four elementary schools will collaborate to offer a Tiny Art Show to our school community.

The third through fifth grade students at four schools will create tiny masterpieces to be exhibited at a local library.

The frames, easels, and command strips will be used to display our finished art work. The canvases and paint will allow students the materials to create with. The mini lego figurines will set the mood by adding to scale observers of the art work created by the students. The collaboration of the four elementary schools working together

The impact of this project will spread throughout our community. It will reach parents, community workers, and other patrons of the library. This project will support our district college and career readiness program by educating students about museum work and careers. Incorporating career skills such as collaboration and team work will help build life skills to impact the futures of our students. Students will help to create, curate, and promote our art show.The project will open the eyes of students to career possibilities in the arts.
