My Project
My students attend school in a rural district in South Carolina. We want to give them a future-ready education to prepare them for high school, college and careers. One way that we try to do that is through science, technology, engineering, and math activities.
I would like to add an Ozobot Ari coding robot to our library MakerSpace.
The Ari is a small robot, but there are many things the students can do with it. It has sensors to measure distance and wheels so that it can be programmed to follow a track.
Students can use colored markers to program Ari to do twirls, go in reverse, and more. They can also write programs in block code or Python, and watch Ari execute their work. Even though Ari is a little robot, being able to use it will pack a lot of learning punch!
