My Project
So many of my students' worlds are dominated by screens and scrolling that they are losing touch with hands-on skills and curiosity about how things work. To open up space for exploring, my school has organized clubs for students to explore new skills.
The Tinker Studio is a space for young people to build confidence through learning and exploring basic hand tools, engineering, circuitry, and project design.
We will meet several times a month to build relationships while engaging in hands-on inquiry-driven projects. Some of these projects will be structured and others, an opportunity to explore, make mistakes, and reflect on the process.
