My Students
The students at our school are curious, active, and engaged learners. They participate enthusiastically in class, ask questions, and express a desire to learn in and out of the classroom.
Our students LOVE to explore!
They are always imagining new and different ways to solve problems, and they work well with others. Whether they are looking for just the right puzzle pieces or finding just the right color pencil, they make any activity an opportunity to encourage one another.
Our students talk about the problems that need solving and look for ways to change what is possible.
My Project
Our school library is a busy place all day long, but especially during lunch and recess times, when students flock to us to tinker. We rotate tinkering possibilities all year, but robots are a TOP TEN request, for sure. We are requesting robots and tinkering tools to get them collaborating and imagining our future.
Learning how robots work, maneuvering them around obstacles, and designing robotic challenges are benefits to having them in the space, but there is more!
Students work together, they share ideas, they collaborate when working with remotes, and those skills will help build a better future, for sure.
We need robots permanently in our library to allow the maximum potential to be reached!
