Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These specific items will help students be able to create their own unique projects. These different materials will help students learn how to express themselves, foster creativity and give them an opportunity to reflect on their abilities.

I'd like students in my class to become better problem solvers, understand how things work with this hands-on exploration.

I'd like them to see what works and what doesn't work. I'd like them to improve their problem solving skills with their projects and hopefully this improvement can translate into their school work.

My students are amazing. They are all unique in their own way. I have 14 boys and 9 girls in a Kindergarten class. One of their favorite centers during center time is when I put out construction paper, crazy scissors, markers and glue. Their imagination comes to live and I can't wait to see how much more they can do with these additional materials.
