My students need a stand-up magnetic center and magnetic gears and magnetic kits to add to our Makerspace!

My Students

I have a wonderful group of active first graders. I have a wide range of students, from strong readers and critical thinkers to English language learners and students with special needs. The one thing that they all have in common is they want to learn, participate, and be successful.

My students enjoy learning, working together, and being 1st graders.

They want to be successful and grow, and we thank you for your consideration and your donations in helping them do so.

My Project

The magnetic center and the magnetic kits will be added to our Makerspace. Our site has a Makerspace, used by all students TK-5th, where they can go to create, invent, and tinker. Students love going to the space to work and imagine. It is a great place to implement student directed learning and a great place for students to work on critical thinking skills as well as with cooperative skills. The magnetic center will be a great addition for students and will be added to the site for all to use. The center will help students in the areas of engineering and science. Students will work on concepts related to engineering, magnetism and even gravity all while building teamwork skills!
