This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Dear Donors,
My goal is to equip my students with practical skills they can use in their future careers and the art room.
With the Tinker Brain Challenge Center, they will learn and apply 21st-century skills such as teamwork, collaboration, problem-solving, and cooperative learning. They will be able to create 3-D forms, apply math concepts, and integrate them with real careers such as architecture and engineering.
My students will benefit from this center where they will have building blocks, magnetic balls, LEGO Minifigures, classic bricks and much more because they are low-income students, and most of them don't have access to this type of building toy in their houses. Exposure to and exploration of this type of toy will provide them with more opportunities for other careers, and maybe there will be a future architect or engineer there.
