it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When incorporating the iPad into small group teaching with my 3rd graders, I can utilize this technology in a range of effective ways. Whether using apps, videos, or interactive presentations, the iPad can visually demonstrate the foundational and reading skills, making them more accessible and engaging for my small group with a focus on the English Language Learners. As I guide interactive discussions, collaborative projects, and even phonological and vocabulary games, the iPad and Apple Pencil become versatile tools for fostering comprehension and igniting the student's ability to read. Furthermore, it allows me to maintain digital records of my students' progress and achievements in literacy, ensuring that I can tailor my teaching methods effectively. It can also involve parents in their child's learning journey by sharing digital resources and updates about their progress, encouraging continued education in reading and foundational skills at home.
