My Students

My students are incredible learners! They know I believe in them and they are capable of doing amazing things in and out of the classroom. Knowing who my students are, both as individuals and as a group is an important part of good teaching. My students come from a diverse population and needs. I believe that good teachers make great students. Understanding their learning styles helps me develop and create a learning environment that is productive and also, supports a greater opportunity for each and every student to succeed.

My Project

I am requesting visual classroom timers, Splash Jr. Learning games, and Nuts About Counting to supplement student learning in the classroom. These resources will support student knowledge by giving students a creative way to practice math and phonics skills in addition to reinforcing number sense. These materials will provide opportunities for varied student learning while maintaining focus. This project is important to my Kindergarten students because it will provide them with the necessary tools needed to be successful in the classroom and appreciate the learning process. These resources will also motivate my students to be better problem-solvers and promote independence in their own learning.
