Help me give my students a Charger (horse) mascot to increase school spirit and create a sense of belonging, connection, and unity within our school community!

My Project
We have around 370 students in our elementary school, with new students enrolling continually throughout the year. As a Title I school, we also have a very unique and diverse population of students representing numerous languages, cultures, ethnicities, and nationalities. Our school mascot is a Charger (horse) and we wear it proudly on all of our school attire. We like our logo and the Charger mascot represented on it, but we would love to bring our mascot to life, in order to get our students and families more invested in our school and take pride in being a Charger!
Having an official mascot that shows up at special celebrations and school events will get everyone excited and bring our school community even closer together.
I am asking for a Charger (horse) mascot costume that one of our fifth grade student ambassadors or a staff volunteer can wear as needed throughout the school year. My hope is that we can get a team of people to rotate wearing the costume, so they can make classroom visits to tell our staff and students about upcoming events. The mascot's communication will be aimed at attracting the students' attention while boosting school spirit and increasing family involvement too. The Charger mascot costume can also be worn to school fundraisers, PTA family nights, PBIS assemblies, sports competitions, and community events to help promote a positive school culture and strengthen sportsmanship, all of which will create more excitement for any school audience.
