This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Pre-K students have greatly benefited from using Play-Doh to develop their fine motor skills. This year, our students have made significant progress in learning how to write, read, spell, and recognize their names. They have also learned how to trace and copy short sentences.
To track their progress and provide a memorable keepsake, we use composition books as journals that show their work from the beginning of the school year to the end.
Each child in the classroom gets to take one home as a memory of their Pre-K year.
Our Pre-K classroom is always bustling with creative activities, including painting. Baby wipes have been an essential tool in helping us clean up fingers full of paint. Each student also receives a box of markers for daily use in the classroom.
Finally, we take hygiene seriously and ensure our classroom is clean and safe for all. Clorox wipes have been a great help in keeping our tables, chairs, and toys disinfected. Thank you for supporting us in creating a safe and engaging learning environment for our young students.
