Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Fall Semester went well. I have learned what types of learners my students are and would now like to refresh our room to better suit their styles and needs.
I want to create more small group areas will help meet every student's needs.
In our class, we focus heavily on discussion where students share their ideas, listen carefully to others, and build on or challenge their thinking. I am asking for flexible seating options, rugs, and portable desks to help accomplish this.
Our class is made up of multilingual learners, students with disabilities, students with interrupted formal education, and students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds. All of which benefit greatly from small group and 1:1 time.
