My Students

Do you remember your first magazine? Time and Let's Find Out are perfect for kindergarten children.

Our students are happy five and six year old children from central Florida.

They love to learn new things and to try doing things they have never had the opportunity to do. We are a Title 1 school. We have about 89 percent of our students that are on the free or reduced lunch program. Many come from economically disadvantaged families with one parent homes or raised by other family members.

My Project

The Let's Find Out with Science supplement will give our students the opportunity to learn about science and social studies topics through a monthly magazine. The topics are presented with real pictures and in an eye catching manner. We have used this magazine in our classroom and really enjoyed it. Time magazines are amazing with up to date topics for the children to learn about social studies topics and current events. This would be a new edition to the classroom that would meet the needs of our curriculum.

Let's Find Out and Time magazines are current topics magazines that is a wonderful addition to our social studies and science curriculum.

The students will be able to learn about current topics and introduced to new ideas.
