Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching at a STEAM magnet school, I would love to be able to give my students all the technological opportunities possible! I have been using the same outdated document camera and projector, which were not new when I inherited them, for the last 10 years. I briefly got to use a Promethean board with my class at the beginning of the year before it was given to another teacher, and the endless learning opportunities were amazing! The kids were so engaged and able to interact with the curriculum! I would love to be able to give all my future students these same opportunities to be immersed in the curriculum, learn new technology, and engage in steam activities!
