My Students
My kindergartners are a delightful group of learners. They love to come to school, express their love for learning and have shown great growth in the short time they have been in a school environment. Learning by questioning, exploring and discovering is key to keeping the attention of our kinders. We are always on the lookout for new materials to engage our youngest learners.
Many of our families are one paycheck away from being homeless.
My students come from homes with hard-working parents who struggle to make ends meet. Their hardships are real and leave a definite impression on their children. Growing up in poverty leaves a mark on children and we work to provide children with a safe, inviting and engaging school environment.

My Project
Kindergartners cannot have enough supplies for creating artwork. It is impossible to create without great materials such as twistable crayons, paint sticks and folders to hold our work.
Friday afternoons are dedicated to "Friday Free Time!" We love to get on the floor with a cool "car rug" and play with our best school friends.
Other children choose art projects with paint sticks and twistable crayons. This is what makes school engaging and a great academic learning place.
Learning is more than test taking and worksheets. Studies have shown that children learn at a greater pace when they play. Your donation will give my students the opportunity to learn valuable life skills.
