My Students

All of my students live in a large city in Michigan and receive free lunch. Many of my students come to me speaking little or no English. Here, at our wonder school there is something for everyone. Even the parents like to engage in our learning opportunities.

My students don't like sitting around, they like to be engaged and to explore new things.

As their teacher, I would like to make available a wide variety of learning materials so they can engage and learn in a variety of ways.

My Project

I am requesting an Ipad Pro and a mini iPad. These new iPads will assist my early learners who are concrete learners. My students are very interested in using newly learned symbolic representation - speaking, writing, drawing (including maps and geometric figures) and using numbers which will be available on the iPads.

My children are extremely active and mobile.

They often have difficulty sitting still; they need frequent changes in learning modalities. Having iPads in my classroom will allow my students to master the language and explore the world of technology. These wonderful iPads would also allow problem solving to occur as there will only be two iPads to share at stations adn free choice time.
