My students need a microphone to record sound, muslin clamps, and a Chromakey Green Screen Kit and lighting kit to help us create one of a kind newscasts, class projects, and more.
We are an excited, energetic group of sixth graders who are always looking for ways to expand our technology. Every day in our class we explore ways to present our knowledge through projects rather than tests and quizzes. We like to think of our projects as real life experiences, rather than a test.
I am blessed to spend each day with the most creative sixth graders of our school.
They come to school with such eagerness to try new things, explore the unexpected, as well as challenge themselves to discover more than what they knew the day before. Our classroom has a set of five iPads to begin the process of exploring more technology, including our interest to create movies with a green screen.
My Project
Our classroom will use the muslin clamps, microphone, green screen and lighting kit to create movies, special effects in our newsletters, and more. Currently our newscast is filmed in our school library background, but our vision is to place ourselves anywhere in the world to make the video come alive and help us star in our own movies.
This project will improve our classroom by expanding our technology and also help open the doors to a whole new level of experience in which we can create within our classroom.
