This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have art Fridays in my classroom every week, which my students absolutely love. It’s always a bit loud but full of excitement. They are very creative and love to make many different projects.

Creating art requires different art materials, not just paper and pencil.

We like to paint, weave, and create art with tissue paper. Making art should not be limited to a few boring classroom supplies like paper and crayons. Providing students with lots of options, such as yarn, modeling, clay, and beads, results in very unique art. Students and teachers from other classrooms always compliment us on our projects.
