My Project
Owen Scholastic Academy is a small school filled with amazing students! They are always eager to learn! Unfortunately, COVID has really taken a hit on our students social emotional development. That gap out of the classroom has really impacted their social development. They are in great need of class, group, and individual support around self-management, self-regulation, relationship building, and social awareness.
Our students learn best with visual and hands on activities.
The SEL games/activities will help students practice the SEL skills taught in class in a fun and interactive way. The skill students learn will be reinforced in a smaller group or individual setting by using the social emotional games/activities. This project will help our student get the social emotional support that they need so that they can excel academically.
