Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are from a Title One School we are located in a low income neighborhood. They are eager to learn but lack the necessary supplies. School starts in August and parents struggle to purchase supplies or even uniforms.
My students are hungry not for food but for knowledge.
They come to school with hopes and dreams. I want to enchance their dreams by increasing their knowledge. Fifth grade is a crossroads for my students as they are on their way to middle school. My students enjoy working on workstations.
My Project
This upcoming school year I want to organize our classroom. I have three different classes that go thru my room. Its difficult to stay organize at times because students come and go. I am requesting three drawer organizers, to give each class a drawer to give students a place to put notebooks and folders. Also pencils are always much needed students don't always bring supplies. We need the tape dispenser to add notes to our notebooks. I am planning to place a dispenser per table. I want classroom to stay clean and organize. I think organization is key to success.
