Help me give my students an Apple Watch to use in the classroom to enhance learning, integrate technology and fitness and provide another technology tool for my 21st Century learners.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 21st-century learners who are eager to use all of the technology available to them! I teach 30 curious fourth-grade scientists in a small, Title I school that has an amazing and supportive principal.
My students are eager to learn and their brains are sponges that absorb any and all information given to them.
Everything is a potential investigation or experiment to them, so I strive to provide my students with as many learning and project-based opportunities as possible. I constantly enhance the school curriculum and students' intrinsic motivation to learn more by infusing STEM correlations whenever possible.
Because of our small school size, funding levels are not as high as other schools in our area. Grants and projects like this one become an integral part of how I obtain resources to supplement learning experiences. I truly believe that the future lies in our children. They have virtually unlimited potential, and my job is to enable them to reach it.
My Project
An Apple Watch is a great tool that will enhance learning, motivation, productivity, health, and success in my classroom. I have a variety of learners in my fourth-grade classroom including students with emotional needs, behavioral challenges, learning disabilities, and English language learners. The Apple Watch requested could help serve as a tool that would motivate my diverse learners. I could use the timer as a motivator for students to beat as an added challenge during timed math challenges, especially for students who need the extra push and as a way for them (and me) to communicate with their parents and keep them engaged in their child's learning and everyday activities at school. The watch will be beneficial for students to use during our physical education activities to monitor their heart rates before and after activities, as well as provide music for brain breaks throughout the day.
This technology tool will be used by my students every single day!
They will use the apps that will be downloaded to practice math and language skills and learn to monitor their time as they work at independent centers. Every student will have the opportunity to use the watch and its applications every single day. This will be a wonderful tool to add to our classroom arsenal of technological tools aimed at making sure my students succeed and grow.
