Time for Kids

Help me give my students Time for Kids weekly magazines. I love sharing these with students! Students are motivated to read high interest topics and current events. My class looks forward to each new issue.

My Project

Time for Kids is a fabulous resource to encourage reading. My highest readers to my struggling readers enjoy these magazines. Students are motivated to read high interest topics and current events. Every week, these arrive and we read and discuss each article. I also love letting my students partner read and discuss them as the school year progresses and they become more independent. The photographs and graphics hold their attention to dive deeper into topics. They are a wonderful supplement to reading, social studies, science, and other subject areas and interests.
