This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the great pleasure of teaching the sweetest 3rd graders! A typical day in our 3rd-grade classroom looks very different than it did before the pandemic and I strive to provide students with a comfortable learning space. My students are 8 years old and they are naturally curious learners. They learn best through movement and play activities that keep them engaged.

My students are energetic learners that love school!

They want to learn about the world around them. They are just starting their journey to become lifelong learners and I am looking to make this experience as memorable for them as possible!

My Project

I am looking for support with obtaining a Time for Kids subscription for my class. I have such fond memories of getting the Time for Kids magazine when I was a student and I want to provide that same opportunity for my class of learners.

My class is full of curious students who want to know more about what is happening around them right now!

Time for Kids allows us to get information that is age appropriate while still developing world learners who are aware of what is happening around us.
