My Students
Our school is a very unique school and only one of a few in the entire state of Florida. We are an all gifted academy. Students get the opportunity to learn through project based learning experiences and projects that they can apply to their real world. It is the second year this school has been established and we are in need of a lot of materials and books to get started in order for our students to have a successful learning experience.
My students are all qualified as gifted students and are ready to take learning to a new level.
This is an ELA, Third grade class, and there are about 36 students in total throughout the day.
My Project
The Time For Kids magazines are an awesome way to get students reading about current events that are happening in our world. These articles are written on a level that the students are able to understand and relate to.
These articles inspire students to use their curious minds to learn about anything from animals that are endangered to events that are happening at the White House.
The articles come with the engagement piece that will encourage students to think outside the box about these issues, while creating projects and presentations that show their representation and understanding of what they read.
