My Project

My students are all resilient, survivors of trauma! They are kind, caring, and work extremely hard. They face more challenges than most, and always push through. My students have serious grit!

Covid-19 has created high anxiety and depression in my students.

Covid has also caused my students to need a significant amount of support to come up to grade level. Students love to take brain breaks with fidgets. They also are able to regulate themselves more quickly with fidgets. As a teacher, I love to love on my students by leaving them random notes telling them how awesome I think they are. I also love to teach them about having a growth mindset, as well as different strategies to support them as they make their way through high school.
