This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During remote learning most of my students did not have the chance to work in groups on projects that involve a variety of choice in materials. They were limited to what they had at home. If I was able to get an art supply kit to them they were not always allowed to take advantage of them as the space at home was limited.

This self-portrait drawing project will allow students to have a choice in materials they create with on their drawing projects such as charcoal, colored pencil, oil pastel or graphite on paper.
