Help me give my students learn independent working skills. I teach a business class for SPED students. We would be able to make crafts using the Cricut Explore 3 with vinyl to sell.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a fresh student myself out of college, I've been enjoying the career that I chose. I teach special education students in a lifeskills setting and it is very rewarding to see my students grow in aspects that most say that they can't. They work really hard to be able to do the things that we do on an every day basis.
These resources will give my students more options and skills that could help them in the workplace.
We would use the resources provided by you to create more items in our school business store. Since I teach students with autism and/or other disabilities the sensory items will help them during breaks. With the Cricut Explore 3 machine and vinyl we could make door signs for the staff members. The wood could be used to make multiple things. My students work hard and enjoy taking on new tasks and learning new skills.
More than half of students from low‑income households
