My Project
Our young male students in grades 2nd-8th will have the incredible opportunity to be mentored by our Dean of Students and dedicated teachers, guiding them in developing integrity, self-discipline, and essential life skills to help them grow into positive and successful individuals. Through engaging discussions, role-playing and team-building exercises, students will learn how to make responsible choices, build strong character, and develop a sense of accountability. In addition to these core values, they will experience the power of music as a tool for self-expression, confidence, leadership, and teamwork. By listening and dissecting different music genre, students will see firsthand how music can be a source of motivation, unity, and inspiration, reinforcing their ability to work together and support one another.
To make this mentoring group truly impactful, students will be provided with journals to document their personal growth, thoughts, and reflections as they navigate their journey toward becoming strong, confident young men.
Writing will allow them to process their emotions, track their progress, and set personal goals. Additionally, snacks will be provided to help fuel their minds and bodies, ensuring they remain focused and energized during sessions. This mentoring group is much needed, as many young boys benefit from structured guidance, positive role models, and a supportive space to discuss challenges and aspirations. These boys are special because they have unlimited potential, unique talents, and a bright future ahead—they simply need the right tools and encouragement to reach their full potential.
Three Goals for This Project:
Develop strong character and leadership skills by teaching integrity, responsibility, and self-discipline.
Use music as a powerful tool to build confidence, teamwork, and creative self-expression.
Provide mentorship and a safe space for young male students to discuss their challenges, set personal goals, and grow into positive role models within their school and community.
