My Project

The students in my classroom will use the graphing calculators on almost a daily basis. In addition to using the calculators for performing calculations, we will also use them for a number of inquiry based lessons. The calculators are able to create graphs of functions, statistical displays, and statistical tests. This project will help students by providing more technology and investigative learning opportunities in my mathematics classroom.

I have found that using educational technology in my math classroom has sparked the curiosity and interest in students who otherwise would find math boring.

Using the graphing calculators will also help students be more prepared for future high-stakes exams, such as the ACT and AP exams.
