My Project

The books I chose are about famous and ordinary individuals of color.

The importance of using books of color allows my students to learn about the accomplishments of people of their skin color.

I desire that my students will read about individuals of color who have made a difference in this society, which would ignite gratitude and the desire for them to make a difference in this society or the world. I wholeheartedly believe the books will inspire my students to begin to dream about what career they might want to pursue.
