This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help donate materials and supplies! Items I am requesting are for my students to further support and provide them with a comfortable space. Coloring books, posters, salt lamps, sensory toys and more will help to further development and successful in their educational careers. I want my room to be a comfortable space where it can be calming. In the use of various materials, such as needs in furniture will help to keep materials locked and safe for privacy. We are requesting cabinets and encourage the utilization of games.

Games utilizing questions and creating a visualization skill and creating a calming space of use of visuals with positivity posters on the walls and lighting will foster healthy minds.

As we encourage games and kids' skill building, we will be signifying brightness in their future.

My goal as a school psychologist is to help:

1. Reengaging students in their learning including by meeting the social, emotional, mental health, and academic needs of students.

2. Providing information and assistance to families as they support students.

3. Using high-quality assessments to inform teaching and learning, including acceleration, and target resources and supports and research based supports and services.

4. Having a welcoming and calming and positive environment all around.

5. Privacy and comfortable in utilizing of materials as when in and out of office can feel safe their privacy.
