My school is located in Midtown Manhattan. I teach in a 3rd grade ICT (Integrated co-teaching) classroom which consists of students of all different abilities and cultures who learn in different ways. My co-teacher and I strive to provide a classroom full of lessons and activities that excite students.
Everyday provides new challenges and victories that help our students become successful throughout the school year.
We believe that all our students are unique individuals with various learning styles. As teachers, it is our job to figure out how they learn best. Our 3rd graders have different interests and personalities that create a classroom community that fosters learning.
We want to make sure that we are providing support to ALL of our students. A culturally diverse library will help all students feel welcomed and included in the classroom. The other materials and supports will be used to help differentiate instruction to best meet our students' needs.
