This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Next school year, I want to give my kindergarteners the best possible start by creating a classroom environment that supports creativity, engagement, and foundational learning. The materials I’m requesting—markers, Play-Doh, and a pocket chart display—may seem simple, but they are essential tools that help bring learning to life for young students.
Markers will allow my students to express their ideas through drawing, writing, and group projects.
With Play-Doh, my kindergartners can strengthen fine motor skills while learning letters, numbers, and shapes in a fun, hands-on way. The pocket chart display will be used daily for interactive lessons in literacy, math, and classroom routines, helping to build early reading and organizational skills.
Many of my students are just beginning their educational journey, and these resources will make our classroom more vibrant, engaging, and effective. Your support will give them the tools they need to grow, explore, and fall in love with learning.
