My Students

I work in an awesome city school! My students are a very diverse group of elementary and middle school students who love technology! My students come from an urban working-class neighborhood, and their families sacrifice a lot to help them in their education.

We have students from many different backgrounds who bring a wealth of culture and knowledge to our school.

My students come to my classroom wanting to learn the tools to make their impression on the world. I am so fortunate to be an educator in this community!

My Project

My students LOVE 3-D design and printing. We love it so much that we are running out of filament. Students have an opportunity to bring their inventions to life with 3-D design and printing, but they can not do much when we run out of filament. I started a 3-D design club, and the students love it. They have designed charms to promote kindness to others and school spirit. They have designed mini boats. One group designed a balloon powered car! We cannot wait to do more! This filament will help us to do more engineering and art projects, and it will fuel our imagination!
