My Project

The Student Council is excited to present "Threads of Unity"—an initiative to celebrate our school spirit and promote unity among students through custom-designed T-shirts. This project aims to encourage creativity, foster school pride, and provide every student with a unique way to express their connection to our school community. Each shirt will be designed by students and feature our school logo, colors, and a slogan that represents our values.

Students will be able to use their mathematical and artistic skills and business talents to design school shirts.

Designing t-shirts helps students express their creativity while fostering a sense of belonging and pride in their school community.

Collaboration and constructive feedback can enhance ideas and create a shared vision of school spirit.

Lesson Objective:

The Threads of Unity project aligns with our school’s mission to create a supportive and inclusive environment. Wearing a unified T-shirt promotes a sense of belonging and pride, boosts morale, and makes every student feel like a valued part of the school community. Additionally, students will engage in the design process, teaching them about teamwork, creativity, and leadership.

Introduction:

Discussion Prompt:

Ask: "What makes our school special?" Write down their ideas (e.g., school mascot, colors, motto, traditions, values).

Design Phase:

Students will write or draw a few ideas for their t-shirt designs.

Encourage them to think about:

school colors, mascot, logo, or motto.

Keeping the design simple and easy to recognize.

Making it fun and appealing to their classmates.

Students will submit T-shirt design ideas, which will be reviewed by the Student Council and school staff. A final design will be selected to represent our school spirit.

Production Phase: Once the design is approved, we make the shirts.

Distribution and Spirit Day: On the scheduled "Unity Day," everyone will wear their T-shirt, celebrating our school spirit together.
