Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students receive raffle tickets for being on task and then we hold a drawing for candy. Students enjoy the sweet treat. Finally, we will take a minute to send postcards to other teachers around the US from ISTE.

We are switching things up this year and our junior high students will attend EVERY class the first day of school.

Students will do a fun activity when they enter math. For A-Day students, they come in and pick up a film canister with an unknown object. Their goal is to find 2 more that match! Oh, and without talking. B-Day classes will work with a partner to put together a puzzle. One is blindfolded and the other is walking them through the activity!
