This project isn’t for big ticket items or expensive materials. This is for all those little things my students use on a daily basis that get consumed and need to be replaced.
The items in this project will assist every grade level I teach with countless projects throughout the school year.
We use the washi tape to help with our paper circuit projects. Students learn how electronic circuits work and create their own within the premise of art work.
My 8th grade students work on a capstone project where they build and design their projects. The cardboard cutters are essential to these builds to keep the students safe while also allowing them the freedom to cut the work themselves.
The Sharpie makers are also used for the capstone projects as well as for our laser cutting work with my younger students. When we cut on tiles, students can use the Sharpies to color their designs and bring them to life. They may seem like small things, but they add up, and, without them, students have a hard time creating certain class projects due to having inferior products or attempting to use inappropriate tools.
